Go ahead and turn the printer off. Open the door like you are going to change an ink cartridge to expose the carriage. When it moves to the left, stop it by pulling the power cable. Move the carriage it all the way to the left by hand, close all doors and then power it up. If the issue is corrected, it should move freely now and work normally. Please let me know if this did NOT work and we will proceed with something else.
