Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. When printing, at the print dialog window, does it show you some options / settings?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

Please try the following fix:

Solution #1:

  1. Open something you want to print.
  2. Click on File menu at the top, then click on Print.
    - This should show the print dialog window with many options. If it does not show some options, then click on the option Show details first. Please click on the website below to see an example:
    http://support.hp.com/doc-images/355/c04964502.gif
  3. Then make sure to uncheck the box at the option Two-Sided if shown.
  4. Then select the option Layout from the dropdown list near the center of the window.
  5. Then below that, next to the Two-sided option, click on the dropdown list on the right, then click on option Off.
    - Note: If you want to keep this setting for future print jobs, click the Presets drop-down menu, select Save Current Settings as Preset, then name it to anything you want, such as "Single-sided printing".
  6. Then click on Print at the bottom, and check.

Solution #2:

- If that does not work, please try:

  1. Make sure printer is powered on.
  2. Click on the Apple logo / menu at the top, then click on System Preferences.
  3. Then click on Printers & Scanners.
  4. Then click your HP printer name.
  5. Then click on Options & Supplies on the right.
  6. Click Options tab at the top
  7. Then uncheck the box at the option HP Two-sided Printing Accessory (Duplexer), or something similar, if available.
  8. Then click OK at bottom.
  9. Then print something and check.

Solution #3:

- If that still does not work, please try:

  1. Make sure print is powered on.
  2. Click on the Apple logo / menu at the top, then click on System Preferences.
  3. Then click on Printers & Scanners.
  4. Then click your HP printer name, then click on the - (minus) button at bottom left, and confirm to delete it for now.
  5. Next, click on the + (plus) button at bottom left, and select your HP printer, then click on Add.
  6. Then print something and check.
