just replaced both cartridges and wil not print black,black ink low.
JA: What is the exact make and model of your printer? And what kind of cartridges are you using?
Customer: canonmx310 reman cartridge.
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: hp note book
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: about a mo. thats why i ordered new cartrige.if print on color only the colored part shows black does not
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

So you just replaced the black cartridge, but it is still showing as black being low?
Or you replaced it after that message came up?

Are you using genuine/oem canon inks, or generic/refilled ones?

That is almost certainly the problem here. The refurb cartridges are specifically prohibited by canon (and every other printer company) because they have high failure rates - about 40% of the time they are faulty right out of the box. Extended use of them also damages your printer and wears out the printhead about 3 times faster than the oem ones.

As a next step here it will be necessary to replace the black cartridge, at a minimum, with a new one. Please use a new canon cartridge if possible, then let me know if anything changes.
