I have a Canon G3000 printer that is connected by USB. Each time I print something, I have to wait 2 to 3 minutes while the printer goes through some kind of mechanical process. How do I prevent this?

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Let me know the results please

Can you please connect it to a different USB port on the computer and tell me if this improves it please.

Each time I attempt to print, the printer goes through some kind of elaborate, time-consuming initialization process. The printer is new. Once it prints, the results are good.

Do you have another computer there?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
There must a be a setting that turns this process off. I just can't find it. I have read the entire manual and attempted everything suggested there.
Customer: replied 3 months ago.
No. No other computer. It appears you are attempted random solutions. Do you know if there is a setting that turns this function off?
Expert:  Richard replied 3 months ago.

no, it is not random.... and no there is no setting that tells it to do this.
