Trying to set up a new Canon PIXMA MG2900 with my MAC. I have cartridges in but blue alarm light is on....not flashing
JA: Has your Canon done this before? And can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: New purchase
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: MAC desk top. windows 7, I believe.
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I'm just in the process of setting up the new Canon printer. I do not have it plugged into the computer

When you say you have a mac desktop, with windows 7. Thats a bit confusing.

Does your mac desktop have an apple symbol or logo on it?

Or, is your machine a dell, or toshiba, or HP, or Asus, or some other brand?
