JA: Just to clarify, have you double-checked the code? And what is the exact make and model of your machine?
Customer: Cd/DvD 80
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Dell
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Two days - nothing that I know of was working well before
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: I have looked on line, but could not figure out problem - I am 89 years old this is hard for me

1. Do you mean the printer model MFC-J870DW?

2. Are you currently able to make a copy from the printer's glass (not printing from the computer)?

3. Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac computer? And/or what's the brand / model of your computer?

4. Is the printer connected to the computer with a (USB) cable? Or is the connection wireless?
