JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: MFC 9970CDW Brother - maybe 3 years old?
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC fairly current OS - need to look. Do you know where I check that?
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: been in issue for the past week. haven't been using it for the past couple of days since it continues to happen almost every time I try to print
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Hello, I'm Wes, and I'll be assisting you today.

Since you have done the cleaning already, which is usually the problem, the problem is with the actual rollers or motors that pull the rollers.

They can also go bad and stop pulling paper properly. Even the gears can break and cause the rollers to stop pulling the paper or impede the rollers as well. The problem is that the printer will need to be serviced to find out which part will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, this means that it will need to be taken to a printer service center. It it most likely more cost effective to purchase a new printer that is under warranty. Sorry for the bad news.
