I've just replaced the belt on my Brother HL4570CDW printer

Customer Question

Hi there, I've just replaced the belt on my Brother HL4570CDW printer and the belt unit counter won't reset. When I get to the last stage Press + to reset the belt unit counter, nothing actually happens.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Brother is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: It is about 3 years old, the model is HL-4570CDW
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Printing from PC, on Windows 7 professional
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: The belt message has been there for a couple of weeks, we've just moved offices this last week and the printer has been working fine except the print quality has deteriorated the last day or two. It said on the printer to replace belt so I thought it was a good time to do it. The box with the replacement part has been hanging around for weeks
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: No I don't think so, thanks
