JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?

JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?

The destination for scanned items is a setting that either the printer or the software will demand when you try to scan. (Or, you'll get an error message about needing to set up the scanning/destination or the like.)

What is currently happening when you try to scan?

And, what application are you trying to scan with?
