I am the person that will be helping you today. May I ask how the printer is connected to your system? (usb, wifi, network, etc)
I look forward to your response.
Thank you for the update. May I start a secure remote assistance session with you so that I can better help you resolve this problem? When the remote session begins, a chat window will appear that we can use to communicate with each other.
Okay. Please, answer the first set of questions that I typed below.
1) Which version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?
2) Where did you get the IP address 192.168.1.57?
3) Can any other computers print to the printer?
What does it mean when you say that you got it online?
Where did you get the number? Did you see it on the computer, on the printer, or somewhere else?
I don't understand how you would get the IP address of your local printer from online. Is that how your other computers are setup; to connect to the printer by IP instead of by hostname?
