I just bought the h imin the set up process where it says to connect the cable.nothing is happening, I tried a new cable,same thing
JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: hp400, brand new today p
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: its a pc, windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: as I said, I was going through the set up and im stuck at this point, like I didn't connect it, and its connected

Ok, its a brand new hp printer and it seems odd I have to pay to have a problem solved, not your problem I guess

Unplug the printer from the computer reboot the computer check for installed components and remove it before you can reinstall the driver to make the printer work.
