MP Navigator corresponding to the printer you intended to use, may not be installed correctly. Reinstall MP Navigator, and then try again
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Canon MP 640 from 2010
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC Windows 10 64 bit
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: I started the download today
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: it happended with german and US version the same way

How is the printer connected to your computer?

Please go to control panel > then Programs and features and select Uninstall a program.

I have done it twice each with the german and the us version before I councelled you
