My Brother MFC-J470DW printer is locked in "fax" mode.

Customer Question

my Brother MFC-J470DW printer is locked in "fax" mode. ("FAX" showing in bottom left of LCD screen on printer) Can't print. Have powered off, unplugged, etc with no luck.
JA: Can you guesstimate how old your Brother is? And just to clarify, what's the exact model?
Customer: ITs about a year old and model number again is MFC-J470DW
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: PC running Windows 10
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Had a power failure. Printer was powered up at time. I don't even use the FAX mode.
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?
Customer: no. Whats cost?
JA: You just pay a $5 deposit now and the rest only when you get a reply from the Printer Technician. All of this is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so you can get a refund if you're not happy for any reason.
Customer: What does "rest" mean regarding costs?
JA: You just pay a $5 deposit now and the rest only when you get a reply from the Printer Technician. All of this is 100% satisfaction guaranteed, so you can get a refund if you're not happy for any reason.
Customer: Not interested in paying much for what should be a simple solution.
