JA: What's the make/model number of your printer? How old is it?
Customer: Model is Canon LBP6650dn
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: Had a weekend rest and would not function this morning
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: Is it junk now ?
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Can you open the printer and take out the Toner Cartridge, then reseat it and tell me if it clears the error.

the cartridge supplier attended and found the problem to be a duplication of drivers. The dedicated driver works fine but somehow a generic driver found its way on to the computer. I am sorry to say the problem has been solved without you. But thank you for your help anywayJeremy

ok, he had direct access to it Jeremy, I needed to go through you and rule out the causes one by one, but you jumped ahead and did this with someone else, which makes it hard for me to solve it then...
