Are you still there?

Thank you for that info.

On this one you could have one of two problems. Either the main board needs to be repaired or the tiny sensor that reads when the toner is installed is bad.

Usually its just the little switch in the toner tray.

Unfortunately this one will require the service of an experienced printer copier technician to make the repair for many reasons

Expert:  MasterFixIt replied 9 months ago.

The sensor in these seem to fail after about 4 to 5 years

The part is inexpensive but delicate. Any local printer or computer repair shop can replace that switch for you, but a lot needs to be disassembled to get to out. Still its quick for someone with experience;-)

I wish I had better news for you on this I really do.

But this one is not for a novice, theres too much that can be damaged.

In any case, I will stick with you until this is complete.

Please rate my service kindly.

Also it is the only way I am credited for my time and expertise with you.

Once you rate, I will be notified and will add your question to my priority list so you can reach me anytime until this problem is solved.

Then you can reach me by simply replying to this message anytime.

Thank you and have a great weekend!

Sincerely

Tech Michael
