My ricoh 7000 has a 990 error. I've replaced the cartridges and powed on and off three time. and it hasn;'t solved the problem. I don't want to pay to discuss the problem only to lear it can't be resolved.

As far as Error 900, it is a common error for the Ricoh printers.

Error 990 indicates a dirty sensor, so either a maintenance unit is dirty or you have a clogged print head.
