Hello! Thank you for choosing Just Answer!

My name is ***** ***** I am the expert that will be assisting you this evening.

I reviewed your question and, to be honest, uninstalling and reinstalling SHOULD have fixed the problem.

There are factors that would affect the result, though.

When you uninstall the printer, you need to uninstall ALL Canon software from Programs and Features/Add Remove Programs.

Then, go into the control panel, under Printers and Devices, and remove said printer from there.

Then restart the computer. Make sure the printer is NOT plugged into the computer.

When the computer starts back up, do a fresh install. Plug the cable back in when the software tells you to.

Please let me know if this doesn't work. We can try something else.

If it DID work, please rate my answer with 3 stars or more so that I may receive credit for assisting you!

Thanks,

Jennie
