Ok, try this:

Next to your start button, there is a search bar. Click in the search bar and type 'printers'. Devices and Printers should be the first result. Click on this. When it opens, find the icon for your printer. Right click on it and select 'Remove Device'. Once it is gone, unplug the printer's USB cable from your computer and plug it into a different slot. Let Windows reinstall the printer. When it says it is ready to use, try to print again. Let me know what happens.

I don't mean on the printer, I mean on your computer. Next to the start button there is a search bar in the lower left hand corner of your screen. Follow my previous instructions from there.

now i got real problems followed your advice and and removed device , but now my problem is there isnot a usbcable on my computer - the printer is wireless now how to i get the pixma back on my computer

Not a problem, do you have the discs that came with the printer? If so, run them again. If not, I can find the software online for you.
