1. Are you currently able to make a copy from the printer's glass (not printing from the computer)? (Put a document or photo faced down on printer's glass, then press the Copy button / option on the printer, does it copy fine?)
2. When you try my steps, what happens? Are you able to delete the printer? When you try to add it back, does it detect the printer?

If it does not detect the printer when you try to add it, then try connecting the printer to another USB port on the computer and check. And/or try another USB printer cable if you have.
Are you stuck at any step? Is there any error or message?
