JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: IP-P28-VPS
JA: What kind of computer are you printing from (Mac or PC)? What Operating System (OS) are you running?
Customer: iPhone
JA: How long has this been an issue? What happened right before this popped up?
Customer: this is a brand new out of the box printer
JA: Anything else you want the printer expert to know before I connect you?

you can't remotely connect to this device, it is stand alone

Ok, the best thing to do to resolve this issue. Is to return it to the retailer and acquire a different one. Basically an even exchange. This product is not supposed to update on it's own.

Your thoughts?
