It is not printing any of the CMGY or R. I have a Canon

Customer Question

It is not printing any of the CMGY or R. I have a Canon Pro9500 Mark II
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: It's been going on for a while. I took the print heads out yesterday. Cleaned them carefully, Let them dry overnight. Installed the ink. It's been printing weird all day.
JA: What troubleshooting have you tried?
Customer: I am having problems getting anything other than cleaning on the screen menu.
JA: The printer expert can solve this for you. Anything else you want him to know before I connect you two?
Customer: I am a professional photographer and have loved this printer for several years. No problems until a month or so ago. I finally realized it was the red that was not printing.
JA: What's the exact make and model of your printer, and can you guesstimate how old it is?
Customer: Pro9500 Mark II I can give you the serial number if you like.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I"ll be assisting you today!

From what it sounds like to me, you may have clogged print heads. It should be fixable.

1.) Print the Nozzle Check Pattern. If the print quality is poor, then your heads are clogged or getting there.

2.) Perform a cleaning.

3.) Print the Nozzle Check Pattern again. If it is still poor.....

4.) Then perform a deep cleaning.

5.) Do another Nozzle Check Pattern.

If you need further instruction on HOW to do this, you can go to the support website:

https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/index?page=content&id=ART129207

If these steps do not resolve, try cleaning the heads again and dry them in a WARM place.

I really hope this works. Canon is a great product and it's hard to let a Canon product go when it has been good to us.

If you have any more questions, let us know and reply back.

If this resolves it, please rate my answer with 3 stars or more so that I may receive credit!
