Hi. My name is***** you for your question and the opportunity to assist.
Can you tell me which version of Windows you are using?
Do you have Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8 or 10 ?
Please try this: click the start button and open Devices and Printer.
You should see your deskjet listed. Right-click on it and make sure
Set As Default Printer has a checkmark next to it.
If you don't see one, click Set as Default Printer to apply it.
When you print from now on the deskjet should be the selected printer.
What's happening Anthony?
Anthony, would you like me to connect to your computer and fix this?
When you open Devices and Printers, right-click on the printer icon.
A menu will open.
Make sure Set as Default Printer has a checkmark next to it.
Here's an example of what it looks like (see attachment)
I can't see what's going on with your computer.
I'm also not a psychic. Were you able to set the deskjet as your default
In Devices and Printers, right-click on the printer and Delete it.
Once it's gone, from the Tasks menu select Add a Printer
and let Windows re-install it.
