I have a Canon MX926 - Support code C000 has come up; it states:
Pri nter error has occurred. Follow the steps below:
1 - cancel printing, then turn the device off
2 - turn device on again.
If problem persists see the manual and contact the service centre
I have followed the instructions as stated 4-5 times and am now contacting you.
I was about to replace a Yellow cartridge but must have hit something please.

Hello. I am sorry you are having issues with your printer. Support code C000 usually means that there is still packing material in the printer, jammed paper, or an ink tank is not seated properly. I see that you were replacing a yellow ink cartridge. My suggestion would be to take all of the ink cartridges out and put them back in to ensure they are seated properly. Make sure you hear the "click" sound and also make sure you don't touch the sensor piece that the printer uses to read the ink cartridge. Let me know if this works.

Hi my name is***** am sorry to hear you are having this problem.

Turn the machine off and open it as if you were going to change the ink.

Move the ink carriage by hand back and forth 3 to 4 times.

It should move freely, if it does not try the same thing with the machine on.

Then look inside with a flashlight and make sure nothing is in its path on either side.

If something is remove it, leave the carriage in the middle of the bar.

Then turn the machine back on (if it is on close the cover).

It should start to realign itself, give it a few minutes and then try to print something.
