on the printer from the home screen...go to setup..wlan setup

I have tried several installs from the disk and even from the Canon download....all the same can't find the printer

please follow the below step on the printer

Press and hold the [Stop] button until the [Alarm] light blinks 15 times.

it will print a network page...let me know once you have the page printed with you

I pressed the stop button....the only blinking light was the blue wifi....nothing printed

I do not have the cable....this printer used to work wifi . it only stopped working when I had to have Comcast reboot the modem...about a month ago. Even my computer was on connecting at the time.

yes please open control panel...devices and printers

click on add printer option

try to add the printer on wifi mode

let me know if it gets detected or not

I went to settings...devices...add printer...got only that the printer is not listed

got it..how is your computer connected to router

is it on wifi or its connected via lan cable

wifi i just found that this computer was not "sharing"...I turned "sharing" on
Iwill try the disk now

I have to log out...and log back in as administrator to try to install from the disk
