Have an Epson Artisan 710 and cannot Scan because of an

Have an Epson Artisan 710 and cannot Scan because of an error message stating "Communication Error - check connections". I have gone to far as to Uninstall the printer and reinstall it. I am connected wirelessly. Any suggestions.

Can you tell me, what steps you are using to scan ?

I select Scan from the display screen. Select "OK". Select "Scan
to PC" then Select "Last used". I use to say "Gloria-PC". I hit OK to Scan and that's when the error message appears - "Communication Error Make sure the computer is connected, then try again".

I know I can scan from Windows. Previously, I was able to Scan directly from using commands on my Multiuse Epson. Now I can't.

No. You see my husband recently died and I can't find the original discs. I downloaded from the Epson site.

oh! sorry to hear that. Can you tell me one thing, is Epson event Manager is present or not, Click Start or , and select All Programs Programs > EPSON Software > Event Manager.

You have said that you select "Last used" on printer instead of "Gloria-PC", is it correct ?

Gloria-PC doesn't show up on the Printer Display Screen. The only choices are USB and Last Used.

OK, please follow the steps below on your PC and let me know, if you are able to open Epson Scan Settings or not ?

Windows (other versions): Click Start or and select Programs or All Programs. Select EPSON Scan > EPSON Scan Settings (or EPSON, then EPSON Scan, and then EPSON Scan Settings).
