OK, What I will say to do is to follow the link below. Install the latest software for the Printer:
The Page will detect your Operating System. Download the software and install it from the page above.
Please reboot the PC and restart the Printer after the PC reboots.

Next. you purchased this Printer last week. It will print pictures but not a document. This is a driver issue. Let us uninstall the Printer Driver. Then I need you to acquire a Registry Cleaner to remove all traces of the Driver from your PC. Then you reboot at that point.

You basically install it and remove the Canon Software from the Registry of your PC.

Yes, you can select all Software dealing with the PIXMA IP110.
Add to Ignore list.
Did it remove all of the Registry keys?
