Hi, I can help with the issue.

Cleaning the roller is good, it just might need additional cleaning.

Remove the paper tray and look for the roller that picks up the paper.

This is called the paper pickup roller. Clean it with a damp paper towel using water or Windex.

Once it dries it should be slightly tacky by the touch.

If it is too smooth, it will need to be replaced as it has worn out.

Also, be sure to listen for loud clicks. This would indicate the gears are worn or broken.
