Open Printing Preferences.

The Printer Properties dialog box is typically where you'll find options governing the printer itself - configuring ports, and other hardware-related customizations.

Click (Start button) => Control Panel => Hardware and Sound => Devices and Printers. Right-click your Brother machine icon and select Printer properties.

Click the Basic tab and choose Normal (600 x 600 dpi) for Print Quality, and click Apply => OK.

Remove the drum unit and Re-install the drum unit and toner cartridges.

  1. Turn off the machine's power switch. Unplug the telephone line cord first (if applicable), disconnect all cables and then unplug the power cord from the AC power outlet (electrical socket).

  2. Fully open the top cover by lifting up on the handle (1).
Customer: replied 9 months ago.
I have done this and the blue line continues to print. I take out all 4 drums and I can see the blue line on the bottom surface. I wipe off the blue line and then it appears again after first print.

remote the drums and clean then with a damp and lint free cloth after that check the toner drum it must be having some scratch or damage mark.
