Can you tell me a bit more about the problem please:1) Is this a dedicated fax line, or a shared voice/fax line?2) Is this a landline from the local phone/cable company, or a VOIP service (vonage/magicjack/etc)3) Do you have dsl service on the same line?
4) Are you able to RECEIVE faxes?
Yes, I am here, please reply only once and give me an opportunity to respond. When you send multiple messages you get pushed down the queue and that delays the process further.
I need to know if you are trying (or able) to either send or receive at this point.
No option or setting would prevent you from sending a fax.
Some options would impact receiving, so I need to know what you can do at this point.
First, can you please check the connections - make sure the cord from the wall phone jack is plugged to the #1 line port on the back of the canon
That is not possible.
There is no setting that would prevent you from being able to SEND.
There are settings that could interfere with receiving, which is why I keep asking you to test that.
Until you do so, it is not possible to isolate the cause of the issue.
Were you able to further test receiving?
