Hi, thank you for contacting JustAnswer.com. My name is Russell. I will do my best to provide the right answer to your question.
The printer can be gotten out of whatever error mode, in a manner depending upon specifically what the nature of the error is.
Let me know what error is showing. And I will instruct you specifically.
(The simplest way to clear an error is, to check that the general status of the printer is OK - paper not jammed in it, paper not out of the paper tray or paper source, and so forth... then switch it Off for 10 minutes or so, then try it again.)
(If it has a wireless connection, then you may need to check
A. its wireless status indicators - either an indicator light, or else the Network Status page, printed out from the printer's own menus, that will tell whether the printer is connected or not, and to what router or SSID it is connected.
B. whether the local WiFi router is On, and acting normally.)
What is the error message, in full, please?
And does it appear on the computer? or on the printer itself?
Does the printer, aside from that message, show any error indications?
And, is it a wireless printer, as configured and as you're trying to get it working? or is it wired or on a USB connection please?
These details - if the previous suggestions do not end up making it work - will help me with advising you further on the case. Let me know. Thanks.
