Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Please try the following:

Solution #1:

- Make sure you did download / install the Drivers - 9000F Scanner Driver Ver.16.1.0a (OS X) and the Software - MP Navigator EX Ver. 3.1.4 (OS X) at the Canon website below:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/scanners/support-scanners-canoscan-series/canoscan-9000f?tab=drivers

, Or you can use the direct website link below to download / install the 9000F Scanner Driver Ver.16.1.0a (OS X) file msd_-mac-9000f-16_1_0a-ea8_2.dmg

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/8/0100004368/01/msd_-mac-9000f-16_1_0a-ea8_2.dmg

, and use the direct website link below to download / install the MP Navigator EX Ver. 3.1.4 (OS X) file mnve_3_1-mac-all-3_1_4-ea8_2.dmg

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/2/0200003282/01/mnve_3_1-mac-all-3_1_4-ea8_2.dmg

, then open Finder -> Applications -> Canon... / MP Navigator EX application

, then in the MP Navigator EX application, click on Preferences, then note the Save in location; you can click on Browse..., and select the folder where you want to save scanned files, then OK / OK / close

, then see if you can scan fine with the MP Navigator EX application.

Solution #2:

- If that does not work, download / install the Drivers - ICA Driver Ver. 4.0.0 (OS X) at the same website:

https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/scanners/support-scanners-canoscan-series/canoscan-9000f?tab=drivers

, or use the direct website link below:

http://gdlp01.c-wss.com/gds/9/0100006579/01/misd-mac-ijscanner2-4_0_0-ea19_2.dmg

; Note: install the download file called misd-mac-ijscanner2-4_0_0-ea19_2.dmg

, then open Finder -> Applications -> Image Capture, then see if you can scan fine with the Image Capture application.

Solution #3:

- Open Finder -> Applications -> Canon... / IJ Scan Utility if available

, and then in the IJ Scan Utility application, click on Settings, and click on each of the scan option on the left, then check the Save in option on the right, click on the dropdown list on the right of the Save in option, and select the folder where you want to save, then OK. Do that for each of the scan option on the left. Once done, click OK.

, then see if you can scan in the IJ Scan Utility application.
