I am using a canon 6600 printer. My paper is A4 format, cut in half.
I would like to print text on that in portrait mode but don't know how to do that, so the text is placed in the middle.

Try to remote the canon printer app from the ipad and restart the i-pad Try installing a new app for the printer on the ipad and then print.Do check the paper size selected on the ipad while printing.
