i have HP Envy Notebook Windows 7 (6 months old) and also HP ENvy 7640 printer/scannerI am wireless and even though I can print , the scanner often says it is not connected and I have to email a scan to myself. what am i missing with the settings?

Hi,I'm sorry about the issue. Was scanning working fine previously on your computer?When you open the HP Solution Center (or HP Scan) program on your computer, what happens when you scan there?
