OK. What the issue is with your Printer is that the carriage motor must be replaced.... Please do not shoot the Messenger here. It can be repaired and it takes about 90 minutes or so to fix.Now because of this you will need to take the Printer to an Authorized Repair Center. So there is where it must be taken.

OK, the Printer has the:SA5376101Carriage PCB ASSY-For GT-541 $425.92.Above is the Part that must be replaced and here is where to order it from. The instructions come with the part Madam. I just fixed the problem. The encoder strip was it in the encoder strip guide. It was outside of it. Am I going to be charged for this service, being that I would have ordered a $500 part for nothing that would have helped?
