I have a Brother Printer HL-5370 which decided to print out

Customer Question

I have a Brother Printer HL-5370 which decided to print out a network configuration page.
For some reason
IP address, subnet mask, IP gateway all show zeros.
I know I have a good Ethernet cable. How do I begin getting the settings parameters above to have usable values? There must be something that will let me talk to this printer via USB (which does let me print). I'd like to assign a static IP address to this machine.

Welcome to, my name is ***** ***** I will do my best to assist you.

To get started, I need to know what type of computer you're using.

Windows XP, Widows Vista, Windows 7, Windows 8, Or a Mac.

If it's a Mac, please check the OSX version as follows.

Click the apple sign at the top left of your screen, then click about this mac. And then where it says version, send that to me as a reply.

Nest question, do you have the ethernet cable connected directly to your wireless router?

Or to the PC ?
