I have a canon mx892, when I turn it on I get a error B200 to unplug and call service.
Is this error something that I can fix

Can you please remove the power to the printer (so unplug it from the power socket).

Then wait 10 minutes, connect the power again to the printer, turn it on and tell me please if it is now operating correctly.

Turn off the printer

Open the cover

Turn on the printer

Wait for print carriage to start moving to the left and let it go past half way

Before print carriage reaches left hand side (but after going halfway across) shut the cover.

Leave the Printer turned on.

does this remove the error?

Unplug the power cable.
Open the printer
Push the whole print head mechanic to the center
While the printer still open, plug the power and turn it ON.
When the printhead still moving and is going to the very LEFT, close the cover.
Wait until its boot up.

It is the internal mainboard that has faulted.

We have ruled out all other causes for this
