Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the error or message when printing?

Are you currently able to make a copy from the printer's glass (not printing from the laptop)?

Is the printer connected to the laptop with a USB cable? Or is the connection wireless?

Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac laptop?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

Your payment failed; you may want to check with your bank / credit card company to allow payment to JustAnswer.

Can you please click on Start -> Control Panel -> System... (or press at the same time the two keys Windows and Pause on the keyboard) to confirm your computer has Window XP (or Windows Vista, or 7 or 8 or 10)?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you.

Please try the following fix:

  1. Disconnect the printer's USB Cable from the computer for now.
  2. Click on Start, then click on Control Panel, then open Printers... (or Hardware and Sound / Devices and Printers...)
  3. Right-click on the Canon printer and delete / remove it for now. Make sure there is not any Canon item showing there for now.
  4. Make sure the printer is powered on.
  5. Re-connect the printer's USB cable securely to printer and computer.
  6. Wait a bit, and the Canon printer should automatically be reinstalled.
  7. See if you can print something now.

Please reply at the box below to continue. Thank you.
