printer works fine from computer, but when I scan/copy it presents a broken up image that is often half solid black. Tried disconnecting power but results same.

I don't want to buy a "plan" to keep my printer functioning. I have had other Epson printers that worked fine. If this one is not going to work I will get another brand.
