Customer: replied 12 months ago.
I can use a usb cable if it is easier..
Expert:  Robert M. replied 12 months ago.

ok. lets try it that way. what operating system is on the laptop ?

most newer ones should see it and automatically install it when you plug it in

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
Do you mean Windows 10?
Expert:  Robert M. replied 12 months ago.

yes that is what i mean.

plug the printer into the wall and then plug the usb cable into both the computer and the printer

see if it shows up on the computer under devices and printers

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
When I go to Devices and Printers it is showing in dull print in the top left hand corner but not showing as connected.
Expert:  Robert M. replied 12 months ago.

was it there before you plugged it in ?

try removing it from there

then reboot the computer and see what it does

Customer: replied 12 months ago.
I have tried that and it still isn't working.
Expert:  Robert M. replied 12 months ago.

were you able to remove it ?

did it come back if you were or were you unable to remove it ?
