Initially, have you re-checked for a possible paper jam at the back where the fuse rollers are?

Hi again Michael,

The described symptom almost always point to a sensor fault or false sensing.

Still, proposed preliminary tries (if have not been done) would be to open the back cover then the pull down cover to expose the fuser roller(s) (careful maybe HOT!):

  • • check/clear for a possible paper jam (most likely);
  • • check/secure/re-mount the thin plastic bar on the right side (a possibility).

All others would be internal and thus require partial to full dis-assembly.
