Customer Question

I'm want to enlarge the copy of what I'm putting in the printer to print , I have a Pixma MX396 & I'm having trouble using the Menu, when I get to enlarge I get stuck when trying to enter the size e.g. 120% - or 150% etc. I did search the web for a manual in PDF so I could print it, sorry I have done it before but as I am a Senior I will claim I'm definitely having a Senior moment ?? That's my excuse ok?

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac computer?

Are you trying to print something from the computer to the printer?

Or are you trying to make a copy from the printer's glass?

Were you able to download / print the manual or not?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

- For copying, you would do the following:

  1. Put something you to copy on the printer.
  2. Press the COPY button.
  3. Press Menu button.
  4. Use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select a setting item you want. For example, in this case, select the item called Enlarge/Reduce.
  5. Press OK button.
  6. Use the Left and Right arrow buttons to select the sub-option you want, if available. In this case, select option Magnification.
  7. Press OK button.
  8. Use the Left and Right arrow buttons to reduce or enlarge the ratio (25% to 400%.)
  9. Press OK button.
(; if needed, press OK again.)
  10. Press the Color button for color copying, or the Black button for black & white copying.
