Any errors on the printer itself, or just on the computer?
Have you rebooted the computer?That should clear the queue.
if it does not, you'll need to delete and reinstall the printer from the control panel, devices/printers folder (right click hp, then remove device, reboot again, then add printer).

It sounds like it did not delete fully. Go ahead and try to delete it once more, making sure you do so as the administrator.
then if you have a registry cleaner program, go ahead and run that, before reinstalling.
