I will be the person helping you today.

I can see that you may need a little bit of extra help.

May I ask if you still need help with this problem? If so, may I start a screen sharing session on your computer and help you resolve the problem?

Once the remote session begins, we will be able to communicate via a chat window on your computer.

Thank you,

Ready when you are...about to throw it out the window!
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.

After you click the "Accept this offer" button for the remote service, the remote link will be posted here. That will be the last charge for today.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Not sure this is a $70 problem.
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.

The reason behind the extra charge for the remote session is because it will require more of my time. We don't have to do the remote session, if you don't wish to. We can do it the old-fashioned way. I will just need to obtain a lot more information from you.

1) Which version of Windows or Mac OS are you using?

2) When you do the test print, is that initiated from the computer or from the printer screen itself?

Seriously. This isn't a $70 problem; I can almost get a new printer for that amount. How about a couple of suggestions?
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.

I respect your choice to not use the remote option. Please, answer the questions I posed earlier.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Sorry, we're on Mac OSX Yosemite and I've been initiating print from the mac

In that case, it is probably a quick fix. I will go ahead and remote in and fix this for you.

Follow the instructions below to begin the remote helping screen.

Remote page:

After clicking the link above, enter the following two digit number: 72 and click the circle button to start the remote application.

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Jason, I get a msg that there is "no app set to open the URL relay..."
Expert:  Jason Jones replied 1 year ago.

In that case, click the "Next option" link and run that choice.
