I have a paper jam. The paper is stuck underneath the piece

Customer Question

Hi I have a paper jam. The paper is stuck underneath the piece that the ink cartridges slide across. Most of the paper came out but there is about a three inch length still in there that I cannot get out

Hi, I will be glad to help with the issue.

To get to the paper under the carriage, open the area where the carriage is, remove all cartridges, then nudge the carriage either left or right to get to the paper. You may have to force it a bit. Also, you can use tweezers to pull the paper out.

Let me know how that worked for you.

I already did the tweezer (forceps) earlier today. I cannot get in any further to do the other task you asked. But while I was waiting for you, I was determined to get the paper out, and God willing, it all came out.
