Hi, I will be glad to help with the issue.
The problem is with the location where the scanner is trying to save the file.
To fix the problem, open the Canon IJ Scan Utility, click Settings, then the little screwdriver/pliers tab, and under "Folder to Save Temporary Files", browse to a folder on your computer and select it. This will be the new location where the scanned images will save to. Click OK to save and continue scanning.
Let me know if you need additional help.
Thank you for using our service.

First, you will need to remove the mg2100. In the Devices and Printers section, right-click the Printer and choose Remove Device.
Then download and install the new printer driver here: https://www.usa.canon.com/internet/portal/us/home/support/details/printers/support-inkjet-printer/mg-series/pixma-mg2120/!ut/p/z1/hZBPU4MwEMU_i4ceIWtQLN5Sagcc0Gl12piLE5wQokAyIRX10zdqL_6re9t9vzf7dhFDFLGePyvJndI9b31_x-L7cplNszyF4nqBL4CUt-uijPIIVjHa_AcwL8MfRQBdfgAH_D4BtmVaSsQMd02g-lojaqzqnbADosPWGG2dnz89ChfsBUQ7GQzCKuERo146HnQSH2PwgdnXlbBKzoDE8zhLrmaQL09_AOvZiQeSeRrhxXvsPXD4Ktnq6vOBpK-iqY9vRS2ssOHW-nHjnBnOJzCBcRxDqbVsRfigu98MjR4cot8409G3gtQ3ecCq15Ec7QBLcbSE/dz/d5/L2dBISEvZ0FBIS9nQSEh/
Once you have installed the new printer driver, then test your printer.
