have an epson xp-400, every thing seem to be working but it does not print when the paper goes through the printer process

Please make a copy from the scanner glass so the computer is not used at all, let me know how that comes out.

It sounds like you haven't please try this and let me know the results.

  1. Press the home button, if necessary.
  2. Press the left or right arrow buttons to select Setup and press the OK button.
  3. Press the up or down arrow buttons to select Maintenance and press the OK button.
  4. Press the up or down arrow buttons to select Head Cleaning and press the OK button.
  5. Press the start button to begin the cleaning cycle.

    Caution:

    Never turn off the product during a cleaning cycle or you may damage it.

    The power light flashes throughout the cleaning cycle and stays on green when the cleaning cycle is finished. You see this screen:
  6. Select Nozzle Check and press the OK button to run a nozzle check to confirm that the print head is clean.
