Just purchased a new HP Pavillion 550/AMD Windows 10 Tower.

Just purchased a new HP Pavillion 550/AMD Windows 10 Tower. I currently have a HP Officejet 4500 purchased 2 or3 yrs ago. When I try to scan documents "No scan options" comes up on the screen. I think I need a new driver to link my printer to my new Tower. The loading software for my Officejet 4500 was not for Windows 10

I'm sorry about the issue. What's the full model of the HP Officejet 4500, sich as G510n or G510a, etc.?

Is the printer connected to the computer with a USB cable? Or is the connection wireless?

Did you download any printer driver online? If yes, what website?

I do not have the original sales slip for the Officejet 4500 printer. The information booklet just says G510 on the cover. If it helps the serial # ***** the printer is CN 16DF2073 FPU# ***** The printer is connected to the tower with a USB cable. I did not download a printer driver

Thank you. Please try the following fix:

1. Disconnect the printer's USB cable from the computer for now.

2. Right-click on the Start button (which is the windows logo icon at the bottom left), then click on Control Panel, then open Hardware and Sound / Devices and Printers, then right-click on the HP printer there, and remove it for now.

3. Download and install the printer's driver / software at the website below:
