I have a MXX922 that has worked fine for quite a while. Now when I scan, the document looks fine on the screen but when I go to attach the document to an email it is completely out of focus. It will even print clearly, but will not send clearly.

Hi,

I'm sorry about the issue. Are you scanning from the printer's scan button or from the IJ Utility program on the computer?

If you save the scanned file to both a PDF file and an image (JPG) file, can you email either of those two files fine?

Do you have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8, 10, or mac computer?

In the IJ Scan Utility program on the computer, can you go to Settings, then check each scan option you want, then go to the Data Format Settings, then check the setting there?

One- scanning from program on the computer. Two- saved as PDF can email but skin is fuzzy. Three- I have a Mac computer. Four- cannot locate data format in settings.

- Do the recipients say the attached images are bad?

- Do you go to the email, then create an a new email message (or reply to one), and use the attachment option / paperclip there for attaching files?

- Open Finder, then open Applications, then open Image Capture application, then use it to scan, then can you email it fine?
