I have PIXMA MP490 printer scanner, serial #JUYA48176. The operating system was upgraded on my MAC BOOK to OSX10.9.5. I now can not print! The computer does see the printer but won't print. PLEASE HELP, THANK YOU!

1- Please go to the apple icon on the upper left corner of your screen, then click System Preferences, and then click Printers and Scanners.

2- Then right click the printer (or control click it) and select Reset Printing System. Confirm if prompted.

3- Download and install the printer driver for OS X 10.9.5 from here ====> Printer Driver

4- Download and install the scanner driver for OS X 10.9.5 from here ====> Scanner Driver

5- Try to print or scan now.
