Hi there,

You will need to ensure you have the latest printer driver installed to allow it to be compatible with El Capitan.

You can download the latest driver from the Canon website:

When I click on the link it says page not found

Now is says site is under maintenance. When and if this page comes up will it be easy to determine how I download the latest driver from the Canon website? So far my problem is not resolved.Tammy

I just looked at the Canon website and they said there is no driver for the operation system I selected. Do you have a answer for this??

Hi Tammy,

The Canon site appears to be undergoing some maintenance.

Try again in 24 hours and the driver should be available then.

Pete,
Yesterday it was under maintenance but today I was able to get on the Canon website and when I selected print driver
this is what is said - "There is no driver for the OS Version you selected. The driver may be included in your OS or you may not need a driver". Does this mean I will not be able to use my current printer since I updated my OS to El Capitan?
